Lisa (Sappington) Rule is a 1985 Chillicothe High School graduate. During her senior year of high school, she needed a fine art credit and enrolled in Drama I taught by long-time director Kathy Breeden. From there, she was hooked on Drama. Rule received her undergraduate degree in English from Oral Roberts University and her master's degree in Rhetoric & Composition from the University of Missouri-Columbia. When she came to Chillicothe High School to teach English in 2007, she also stepped into the shoes of a director. She has directed two shows per year and is proud of every single actor who has stepped out of the box and on to the stage.
